I began studying Ayurveda in late 2011, but my path to Ayurveda began lifetimes ago. Like so many I have struggled with my own health and well-being throughout this life. I have struggled with weight, pain, digestive issues, depression, anxiety, self esteem and other more serious illnesses. I have tried many fads, many different diets, jobs, places, relationships all leaving me unsatiated. I was looking for health, comfort, and enjoyment in all the wrong places, namely as something that I could find externally.
Then this beautiful Ancient Vedic Wisdom found me and said look inside, there is harmony there, there is health and balance, there is peace, and freedom from pain both physical and emotional. Ayurveda is the most simple yet profound practice we can endeavor to incorporate into our lives. We can look to the Universe, to Mother Nature, to Divine Grace and we can bring healing and love into these bodies.
In the years since I began studying and practicing this Ancient and time tested science I have been humbled again and again, I have gained immense gratitude, reverence and a deep respect for this Macrocosm we live in and I strive to practice the art of balancing my tiny Microcosm with this Divine energy.
The goal of my practice, both personally and for my clients, is to “be here now”, find out what our deepest and most authentic path to health, well-being and contentment is, and move fluidly in that direction.
