Counseling varies depending on the personality of both the therapist and the client and the particular problems that you may be experiencing. I want to help you address the problems you hope to address. Often this includes building skills to: reduce feelings of distress, improve relationships, communication with others, and/or to resolve difficult personal issues. In order for therapy to be most successful, you will be asked to work on things we talk about both during our sessions and at home.
My goal of counseling is: TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE CHANGES THAT WORK FOR YOU IN YOUR LIFE. In order for therapy to be most effective, I believe there needs to be open communication. I want to know how you feel about your progress and my interventions.
