Nicole is a NAMA board certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. She studied under Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico and served as resident practitioner at the Institute’s clinic. Nicole’s work is guided by a reverence for the wisdom traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga. She aspires to share these traditional systems of medicine and contemplative practice as forms of sustainable healthcare & holistic wellness.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies with minors in Religion and Anthropology from Hamline University. She is an E-RYT 200 Yoga instructor and completed her YTT program as well as a Yin Yoga training with Green Lotus Yoga & Healing Center in 2012. Nicole completed a program of study in western herbalism with Dara Seville of the Albuquerque Herbalism School in 2019. Nicole is currently a graduate student at Lesley University, pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specialization in Holistic Studies.
Nicole’s holistic approach emphasizes the unique healing narrative and journey of each client. She believes in the power of story, ritual, and relationship as agents of transformation. Through her work, Nicole aspires to support causes of justice & liberation, contribute to the growth of healing communities, & empower individuals through embodied wisdom, personal practice, and the Art & Science of Ayurveda.
