Detailed Information

I am a certified Shaka Vansiya Ayurveda Practitioner, Reflexologist, Holy Fire® III Karuna® Reiki Master, and Esthetician. I have been a lifelong learner. After graduating from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in microbiology, I was drawn towards healing therapies and continued my training and practice in several modalities like Esthetics, Reflexology, Spa Therapies, Reiki and IET, close to three decades. I taught Esthetics and Spa Therapies in a college in Saskatoon for some time.

Growing up in India, many Ayurvedic practices were a way of life. I learned simple Ayurvedic home remedies from my mother, aunt, and grandmother. My father was a renowned physician and surgeon but he always treated his patients as a whole individual and not just the symptoms.

My health crisis led me to rediscover Ayurveda and for the past 10 years, I have been studying and practicing this ancient healing system. I have been fortunate to receive training from a world-renowned Ayurvedic practitioner Vaidya R. K. Mishra of the Shaka Vansiya Ayurveda (SVA) lineage. I learned how to do Nadi pariksha (pulse assessment) along with Transdermal Marma treatment from Vaidya Mishra. I am so grateful for this ancient knowledge. It has deepened my level of understanding of how the body works.

I currently offer Ayurvedic consultations and therapies based on my SVA training. I educate people on how to cook authentic Ayurvedic tridoshic meals and the importance of food combinations and the use of spices. I teach Ayurvedic Dinacharya and seasonal practices that promote health and balance.

I am a Holy Fire® III Karuna® Reiki Master and offer energy healings to people all over the world.

My goal is to continue learning and sharing Ayurveda, help new Ayurvedic practitioners establish a practice, and inspire students to continue learning this ancient knowledge. I am a Professional Member of the Ayurveda Association of Canada and serve as a Chair for the Manitoba Chapter for Ayurveda Association of Canada.
