The Universe is filled with endless and enormous energy: Reiki.
It gives us life as it makes plants grow and birds fly. We draw from this Energy when we suffer with pain whether it is physical, mental or emotional to help restore balance and harmony. Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing.
Reiki is a simple hands-on healing method founded by Mikao Usui, a monk from Kyoto, Japan. It can be used for healing an aspect of our own life or to help others by re-establishing balance and harmony on the physical, emotional and mental planes so that the natural function is restored.
A healing technique based on the principle that the Reiki Master/Practitioner can channel energy into the client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body and restore physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Reiki is a Japanese word that means “Universal Life Force Energy,” the energy that surrounds, flows through and gives life to all things. Reiki is a multi-level technique that gently and effectively supports your journey to health and healing.
During a Reiki session, the individual remains fully clothed while relaxing comfortably on a massage table or sitting in a chair. Anu, Reiki Master/Practitioner puts her hands in different positions on the body for a length of time. Most clients report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after a session. Others may experience warmth, coolness, or tingling sensations during the session. You may even fall asleep. The experience is different for each person. Reiki meets you where you are.
